I made this trek in Nepal from Lukla to the peak of Kala Pattar with my 75 year old mother. At 18,500 ft Kala Pattar looks down on the Everest base camp. We went without a guide or porter and my mother carried her own pack. This is some of the wonderful scenery we experienced on this trek.
